We had a great meeting with some CCC members the other night. Thanks to everyone who came out and threw in your thoughts and feedback.
While we get some other things in place, we are going to make an immediate change to the workshop schedule. For the summer, we will only have one public, official CCC writers’ workshop each month. It will be held on the last Wednesday of each month.
These workshops will be held on June 27, July 25 and August 29. The format will be the same as before.
Begininning in July, we will collect work for the workshop by the Wednesday night before the workshop. So for July and August, make sure to send in work you’d like reviewed at the workshop no later than Wednesday night July 18 and August 22, respectively. We’ll make the stacks available on the website by Thursday afternoon.
This will give everyone more time to read the stories before the workshop, which should be a welcome change!
Due to the potential increased amount of work, we’ll probably split the workshop into multiple groups/tables at the same time and location. We’ll handle this on a case by case basis, just make sure you read all of the instructions.
As before, the time and location will be listed on the members-only portion of the website. Anyone can register for free and login to get that information.
