We had a great meeting with a small group of CCC members on Wednesday night, planning for the release of our summer anthology. Official details to come next week, but the theme will be Bicentennial Columbus: Past, Present and Future. All stories must be set in Columbus in a year between 1812 and 2212.
I think this book will be our biggest release yet, and we’re considering opening up some new distribution channels. We could use your help in the following areas:
Content Solicitation
Editing & Design
Securing Sponsors
Distribution
Events Organization
Press Releases/Earned Publicity
Marketing/Promotions
Most of these jobs are volunteer based, however, many of them are either directly commissioned based on results, or share a contributors’ portion of the book proceeds, just like the writers. It certainly won’t be a full-time job for anyone, but it is a founding principle of CCC that if you want professional results, everyone who participates should share in the spoils.

While we value suggestions and feedback, no one on this side of the blog has a lot of free hours, so what we really need are individuals who can come up with ideas, and also have the time and skills to effectively implement them with minimal oversight.
